Favorite Xmas Tunes?
by undercover insomeone started a thread asking everyone's favorite xmas movies.. how about favorite xmas music/songs?
even when i was an active jw i had a soft spot for certain xmas music.
the standards, the jazzy ones, the rocknroll ones.. while i like a lot of different ones...i even collected my favs onto a playlist that i keep for this time of year...there are a few that really stand out as my favs.

Santa Claus Accused of Drugs, Womanizing--Abused Reindeer Family Speaks Out

"i am making this statement now, in the hopes that the claus family will release the hold that these events have had on myself and my family for three generations.
the time has long past for someone to stand up and speak out.
understand that i do this with great hesitation and considerable fear for the safety of my family, but with determination to see justice served.. "my grandfather, the original rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, wrote a detailed expose of santa claus' illegal and immoral activities in the north pole.

Prayer & Good vibes needed for our Dear Rabbit JWD/N member

Mr and Mrs Rabbit,
You have my prayers and all the positive thoughts I can muster. My dear SIL has recurring brain tumors and has had three surgeries since I have known him. There will be more in the future.
My thought is this: The medical community can do so much these days, they truly perform miracles every day. Recovery is not an easy or straightforward process, but the human brain is capable of healing itself if given half a chance. Love and positivity are key.

Medical Cannabis
by mrsjones5 inover the thanksgiving weekend my family and i stayed with a dear friend.
our dear friend partakes of medical cannabis which helps with his depression, insomnia, and panic attacks.
he suggested that my husband should give it a try because it could help relieve his pain and help him to sleep during the night.. so hubby tried it (three nights in a row, about 15 minutes each session), didn't like the scatchy throat he got from inhaling the smoke but he said it helped his pain and he was able to rest.

Sometimes the prescription calls for other drugs to be added to the marijuana, my SIL has recurrent brain tumors and I know they lace the pot with other drugs for him. His come through the vaporizor, but I think the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted on the best method of use for the individual.

My SIL uses a vaporizor to smoke his medical marijuana. Takes a lot of the harshness and carcinogens out.
Nelly is right about the food too...cannibis has an affinity for chocolate.

by only me ina man riding his harley was riding along a california beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the lord said, "because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, i will grant you one wish.
" the biker pulled over and said, "build a bridge to hawaii so i can ride over anytime i want.
" the lord said, "your request is materialistic, think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required reaching the bottom of the pacific and the concrete and steel it would take!

Lady Lee- We went holiday crazy for a couple years and put the white tree up for every holiday. Red lights and ribbon with Victorians hearts for Valentines, purple lights, glitter eggs and pastel ribbons for Easter ect. We didn't miss any holiday , drove my poor husband batty. This year he still doesn't celebrate but has made a small wish list I think we're getting to him.
